- Plan to move as far away as possible from friend.
- If #1 is not desirable or possible, pretend the friend has moved far away.
- Avoid the friend. Time and distance seem to be the best remedy.
- In the time between the time and distance settling in, make every effort to be otherwise occupied, thus preventing self-pity.

I'll have to share that story sometime.. Not sure when or where, but I bet I can weave it into my other story somehow. Has to do with 'completing tasks.' I got what I wanted. I was kind of a jerk.
But it was fun. (don't tell anyone)
Naturally I am interested in that story.
