When I turn 45, I’m going to stop coloring my hair, get it cut really short and let it grow out its natural color, which is gray.
When I turn 50, if I am still unmarried, I am going to plan a “consolation” shower, and invite everyone whose bridal and baby showers I ever attended, and rack in the gifts (hopefully mostly monetary).
Before I die, I would like to…
ride in a hot air balloon,
vacation in Hawaii and the Bahamas,
own a home,
drive a Jaguar,
hang glide,
take a nap in a hammock,
kiss someone I'm wildly attracted to,
shake hands with a gorilla,
and there are probably more but that’s all I can think of right now.
I LOVE this entry. I LOVE your lists!
ReplyDeletePlease invite me to your 50th birthday party!! :D
Gray looks great. I told my husband I wanted to get some part of my hair colored that way - and he said that isn't possible - that it would end up white. I don't know what he knows about it. But gray is cool.
ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law. So cute. She has WANTED gray hair forever (well at least since she's been old enough to expect to have it). And it never changed color. So she went out, chopped her hair (she' so funny), and bought a wig - to help her "look her age." Have you ever heard of such a thing? She is so cool. I thought it was cool (funny and strange, yes). But kind of cool that she wanted that look. heheheh
