MJ paid me a little birthday visit, which was quite pleasant. I enjoyed it very much.

And my conundrum...let's call her Colbie...is trying to set me up with an older male friend in her circle. How do I tell her I'd much rather hang out with her?

I'm not over Emily Blunt, at all. But I have been watching Masterpiece Classic's Downton Abbey and I'm really enjoying newcomer Jessica Brown-Findlay as Lady Sybil. I especially like her voice. The character is fun too. I hope to see some more of her.

Emily Blunt. You may know her from The Devil Wears Prada, in which she was a complete scene stealer, and The Young Victoria (excellent). I watched an obscure film this weekend that really showcased her talent as an actress, called My Summer of Love. Kind of a lame title, but an amazing psychological drama. The other girl was really amazing too. I've been thinking about it nonstop.

She gets to me. I just want to keep looking at her.
